Outfit of the Day 6/17
It’s been POURING most of the day, so naturally the stars of today’s outfit are definitely my favorite rain boots.
It was POURING!
These are Hunter “Women’s Original Tall Gloss Rain Boots” in Military Red. I find ANY excuse to wear them, and every time I do, someone always comments on how cute they are. They are super comfortable, and while some people complain that glossy Hunter boots tend to dull or “bloom” (what they call a whitish film that tends to show up on natural rubber), I’ve had mine for months, worn them no less than 20 times and not had that problem. I have a pair in green that are several years old and are also in fantastic shape, with just a tiny bit of dulling. Better yet, these boots (not in the red unfortunately, but in several other colors) are on sale! They are pricey, so if you love them, take advantage! The link to the Hunter sale page is here. Pay special attention to the sizing because they do tend to run a little large. I wear an 8.5 and bought these in a size 8. Even with sizing down I can still wear Hunter brand boot socks (which tend to be on the thicker side) comfortably.
How cute are these mini Hunter boots?! My Ash inherited them from my sweet friend Jessica. It pays to be the baby of a friend group of all boys! ?
My very comfy striped tee is one of Target’s “Ultimate V Tees”. They don’t have it in the black and cream stripes anymore, but they do have it in 12 other colors. They are currently 3 for $20, so stock up! The t-shirts can be found here.
